You receive a coupon from us by e-mail. You redeem it in the portal and its value is added to your credit.

## How to redeem a coupon

1. Open **Settings** with the gear icon ⚙️ in the top bar — a panel slides out on the right.
2. Click **Apply coupon**.
3. Type in the **12-character code**. The `XXXX-YYYY-ZZZZ` format fills in by itself, just type the characters one after another. The code contains both letters and digits; letter case and dashes do not matter.
4. If you have more than one [wallet](https://www.bulkgate.com/en/helpdesk/payments-and-wallets/creating-wallet/), select the one the credit should go to. With a single wallet the choice is not shown.
5. Click `Apply`. The button unlocks once you have entered all 12 characters.

The portal confirms **Coupon applied** and adds the value to the wallet's credit. You will find it among [transactions](https://www.bulkgate.com/en/helpdesk/payments-and-wallets/transactions/) as **Bonus credits**.

## Redeemed coupons

Below the form there is a list of **Redeemed coupons**. Clicking a coupon shows its code, the date it was applied, its value and the wallet it was redeemed to.

## When a coupon cannot be redeemed

| message | what it means |
|:--|:--|
| **Coupon not found** | No such code exists. Check that you typed it correctly. |
| **Coupon was already applied** | Each coupon can be used only once. |
| **Coupon expired** | The coupon had a limited validity. You will find the date in the e-mail we sent it in. |
| **Coupon can not be used to this wallet** | The coupon is issued in a different currency than the wallet. Select a wallet with the same currency. |
