## What is a Business Page

A Business Page is a public landing page carrying your branding. Recipients reach
it by opening the short link they receive in an SMS — the full text of a shortened
message, or the content of an offer, is only displayed here.

The page consists of a header (cover photo, logo, name and tagline), a row of
contacts (website, email, phone), a middle part with the message or offer content,
and a footer with the tagline and copyright. The look of the header and the
contacts is driven by two colours you set on the page.

You will find your Business Pages under `Business Page` in the portal's left menu.

> [!NOTE]
> Your own Business Page is not required in order to send a campaign. If you do not
> select one, the `Default page` is used — it takes its name, colours and contacts
> from your account settings, or from the white label settings.

## Overview of Business Pages

Clicking `Business Page` in the left menu shows a tile for each of your pages.
Every tile shows the cover photo, the logo, the name and the tagline; clicking it
opens the page detail.

Until you have a page, the tiles are replaced by a `Create Business Page` prompt
with a `Create` button.

## How to create a Business Page

1. Click `Business Page` in the left menu
2. Click `Create` in the upper right corner
3. Enter the page name and confirm with `Yes`
4. The portal takes you straight to the detail of the newly created page, where you
   fill in the remaining information

## How to edit the information on a Business Page

1. Open the page detail
2. Click `Edit` in the upper right corner — the same form opens when you click the
name, the tagline or any of the contacts directly in the page preview
3. Change the information and click `Save`

| Field | What it affects | Maximum length |
|:-----------------|:--|:--|
| Name | The name in the page header and in the footer copyright | 50 characters |
| Tagline | The subtitle below the name, repeated in the footer | 100 characters |
| Primary colour | The background of the header and of the area behind the logo | — |
| Secondary colour | The background of the contact icons | — |
| www | Contact linking to your website; only the domain is displayed | 50 characters |
| Email | Contact opening the email client | 50 characters |
| Phone number | Contact dialling the number | 50 characters |

Contacts you leave empty are not shown on the page at all.

## How to upload the logo and cover photo

1. Open the page detail
2. Hover over the logo or the cover photo in the page preview and click it
3. Choose to upload an image from the menu and pick a file
4. Move the image into position inside the crop area and click `Save`

Images are stored at a fixed aspect ratio — the logo as a 175 × 175 px square, the
cover photo at 3 : 1 measuring 1000 × 333 px. Anything outside the crop area is
cut off.

You remove an uploaded image the same way: click it, choose to delete the image and
confirm with `Remove` in the `Are you sure you want to remove photo?` dialog.

## How to set the page colours

Colours are changed in the same form as the rest of the information — `Edit` in the
upper right corner. Clicking the colour swatch next to either colour field opens
the colour picker.

- **The primary colour** fills the page header (the area behind the cover photo) and
the area behind the logo. It defaults to `#333333`.
- **The secondary colour** fills the circles with the contact icons. It defaults to
  `#37ab9c`.

Confirm the change with `Save`; the page preview redraws immediately.

## Where a Business Page is selected

A Business Page is assigned to an individual campaign, not to the account:

- **Message shortener** — in the second step of an SMS campaign, turn on the
`Shorten long message into 1 SMS` switch and pick a page in the `Business Page`
field. `Preview` shows you how the message looks on the page, and `New page`
opens the Business Page overview in a new tab. Ticking `Enable reply form` adds a
field to the page that lets the recipient reply to you. This is described in
  detail in [Message shortener](https://www.bulkgate.com/en/helpdesk/campaign/message-shortener/).
- **Offer** — in the offer step you pick the page in the `Business Page` field in
  the right-hand column.

In both cases the `Default page` option is always available as well.

## How to remove a Business Page

1. Open the page detail
2. Click `Delete` above the page preview
3. Tick `Yes, I want to remove the Business page` in the dialog and confirm with
   `Remove`

> [!WARNING]
> Removal is permanent — the page is deleted together with the logo and the cover
> photo you uploaded. Campaigns that used it will fall back to the `Default page`.
