Creating an account

Registering with BulkGate has two parts. First you verify your e-mail and fill in details about yourself and your business, then our team reviews the request. The account becomes active only after approval — we will e-mail you the result within 48 hours.

How registration works

On the registration page you enter your e-mail and country.
You confirm your e-mail with the link we send you.
You set a password, fill in your personal and billing details and information about your business, and verify your phone number.
You agree to the terms and conditions and to the processing of personal data.
You wait for the request to be approved.
You log in and verify your first login with a code.

Complete the registration in one go — from clicking the link in the e-mail you have 2 hours to fill in your details. After that the process expires and you need to start again.

Entering your e-mail

On the registration page fill in:

Country	The country you do business from.

Confirm you are not a robot and click Send verification email.

Tip

Use an e-mail on your company's domain. Addresses at public providers such as gmail.com, yahoo.com, hotmail.com or icloud.com go through stricter checks, which can slow down the approval.

If you came to the registration through a partner link, the Affiliate ID is already filled in.

Confirming your e-mail

You will receive an e-mail titled Verify your e-mail. Click the Verify email button in it — the portal opens and you continue with the registration.

The link is valid for 1 hour. If it expires, start the registration again.

The e-mail did not arrive

Check your Spam or Promotions folder.
Check that the address is correct. If it is not, click Change email and enter it again.
Click Resend verification email. The button unlocks after a short countdown shown on it.

If the e-mail still does not arrive, contact support.

Something other than the verification link arrived

A registration request with this e-mail address already exists	You have already started registering. The button in the e-mail takes you back to where you left off.

If you have changed your mind, you can cancel the registration with the link in the footer of the verification e-mail.

Filling in your details

After confirming your e-mail you go through several steps. Their order differs for each registration, this is not an error. You can move back between steps.

Password

The password must be at least 8 characters long and contain both digits and letters. You enter it twice to check it.

Personal details

First name, last name and time zone. Scheduled campaigns are sent according to your time zone; you can change it later in editing your profile.

Billing details

Choose whether you are registering a company or registering as an entrepreneur:

Also enter your website, or tick I don't have a website. The billing details are used on tax documents when you top up credit.

Tip

Always fill in your VAT ID if you have one. Companies from the EU outside the Czech Republic with a valid VAT ID are invoiced without VAT under the reverse charge mechanism — without a VAT ID, VAT is charged at the rate of the customer's country. Customers from the Czech Republic are always charged VAT, even with a VAT ID, because BulkGate is based in the Czech Republic.

We verify VAT IDs against the European VIES register — check there in advance that your VAT ID is valid.

If VIES or your country's register is temporarily down (availability overview), the VAT ID cannot be verified and, with a VAT ID filled in, the top-up page will not open at all. Try again in a while, or contact support. The details are on billing information.

About your business

A short survey on how you plan to use BulkGate: your line of business, the countries you want to send to, channels, message types and products. Optionally you can add a LinkedIn link and a sample message — both help us assess the request faster.

Important

The countries you select here are set as the only allowed ones in your sending restrictions. Once the account is approved, messages will go only to them. You can change the list at any time in Sending restrictions. If you select no country, no restriction is set.

Verifying your phone number

Enter your mobile phone number, choose whether you want to receive the code via SMS or Viber, and click Send verification code. You will receive a six-digit code to type into the form.

You can have the code resent at most twice, each time after the countdown next to the field.
After repeatedly entering a wrong code, verification is blocked and you enter the number again.
Numbers with the +1 prefix (USA, Canada) additionally require consent to receiving SMS.

If the code cannot be delivered to your number, the portal lets you continue without verification. The request then goes through a more thorough review.

Consents

The last step is consents. You cannot complete the registration without the mandatory ones.

Approval of your request

Once submitted, the request goes for approval and you receive an e-mail titled Your registration request is being verified. We verify every request — that the details belong to a real business and that the intended use complies with the rules. We will send you the result within 48 hours. While the request is pending, you cannot log in.

A new account receives free credits once approved, so you can try BulkGate out.

On your first login the portal asks you for a verification code. Choose where to have it sent and type it into the form. The device where you verify this way will not ask for the code again; a different device will ask again.

Common problems
